Highlights
Kala Sarvaiya joined SoCal IP Law Group LLP as an associate
in January, 2006.  Her practice emphasizes patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing and related counseling.

Ms. Sarvaiya has a B.A. degree in Computer Science from
University of California, Berkeley.  She gained four years of
software engineering experience at Hewlett-Packard Corporation
and Syndeo Corporation. 

While at Loyola Law School, Ms. Sarvaiya earned the First Honors Award for Patent Law.  She also was a member of the Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court team.  Her Moot Court team was a Finalist in the Regional Competition in Houston, and a semi-finalist at the National Competition in Washington D.C.

Ms. Sarvaiya’s technical experience includes kernel programming
on Hewlett-Packard’s UNIX kernel, and design and management of databases for e-commerce applications and Voice-Over IP software.
